Man in court in rottweiler attack case

A MAN has appeared in court in connection with a savage dog attack on a seven-year-old on Southend seafront.
The boy was attacked while paddling off Eastern Esplanade and left with horrific injuries.
Five months on and Rowan Diedrick, 29, of Avenue Road, Enfield, was at Southend Magistrates' Court today.
Diedrick entered no plea to having a dog dangerously out of control and causing injury.
The young lad was attacked by a rottweiler on August 5.
The case was committed to Basildon Crown Court.
